Megan Belham Howe is a dedicated and compassionate licensed physical therapist assistant (LPTA) with a passion for helping others overcome pain and improve their quality of life. Born and raised in Gulfport, MS, Megan developed a strong interest in physical therapy early on when she worked in a local clinic during her high school years. Witnessing the transformative impact therapists had on people’s lives, she knew she wanted to pursue a career in this field.

After graduating from Pearl River Community College in 2002 with an Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapy, Megan embarked on her professional journey. She honed her skills and specialized in Myofascial Release, earning training under the esteemed John Barnes, PT. Later on, she also became a skilled practitioner of Frequency Specific Microcurrents, expanding her expertise in alternative therapies for pain management.

In May of 2015, Megan took a significant step in her career and entrepreneurial journey by founding Synergy Myofascial Release & Rehab, Inc. in Flowood, MS. As the owner of the clinic, she is deeply committed to providing the best care and treatment to her patients, utilizing her unique skills and knowledge to address their specific needs.

Beyond her professional life, Megan cherishes her role as a wife and mother. She is married and has a 12-year-old son, who she actively supports in his football endeavors at Madison Ridgeland Academy (MRA). Furthermore, Megan and her husband have opened their hearts and home as foster parents to two young siblings, a 1-year-old girl, and a 2-year-old boy, exemplifying their love for helping children in need.

In her spare time, Megan enjoys indulging in various hobbies, including party planning, a testament to her creativity and attention to detail. She also finds joy in traveling, exploring new places, and enriching her experiences. Being an animal lover, Megan adores dogs and shares her home with three canine companions, who undoubtedly bring extra warmth and joy to her family.

Deeply rooted in her community, Megan is an active member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Brandon, MS, where she finds spiritual nourishment and camaraderie with like-minded individuals.
